Abstract

The Department of Computer and Artificial Intelligence defined the 9 core competencies of 5C-GIANT by actively reflecting the world standard curriculum of computer science and industry demand to cultivate talented people who will lead the era of digital transformation and the era of the 4th industrial revolution. Based on this, the Department of Computer and Artificial Intelligence has newly established a curriculum to operate a number of industry-academia practical capstone programs with an in-depth major in AI, IoT, cloud/big data, and blockchain/information protection. In order to systematically and efficiently educate students who will work in the future intelligent information society and hyper-connected society while actively responding to the needs of AI and new technologies, our educational goal is to cultivate 5C-GIANT-type global digital talents based on demand for industries with problem-solving capabilities in the future technology-oriented manner.
